The 2010 World Future Energy Summit was more influential than ever before, with the attendance of more than 100 official delegations, lead by ministers, royals and heads of state, and more than 1,400 CEOs, as well as more than 24,000 attendees from more than 130 countries. Alongside the summit, two exhibitions are held: the World Future Energy Exhibition, focused on advanced and renewable energy, representing the fields of solar, wind, biofuels, geothermal technologies and energy efficiency solutions for green buildings, and the World Future Environment Exhibition, dedicated to air, water and waste management technologies and solutions.

WFES 2010 brought together 24,792 attendees from 148 countries including world leaders, international policy makers,  industry leaders, investors, experts, academia, intellectuals and journalists to identify practical and sustainable solutions for today’s energy security and climate change challenges.

In its third year, WFES, held in Abu Dhabi, capital of the UAE demonstrated its commitment to promoting and advancing innovation, research and regulation of the future and renewable energy globally.
